More Than Just A Great Day or Good Hormones

It's a public secret that being happy and positive is actually good for the health. We also know that it affects our hormones, at least that's what I know in general. But today I am astonished by how deep this whole cheerful thing is.

I figured out that being happy and positive protects us from heart attacks, strokes and other cardiovascular events.

The ABC news stated a better immune system

Harvard School of Public Health discussed that negative emotions causes serious disease. 
"heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Chronic anger and anxiety can disrupt cardiac function by changing the heart’s electrical stability, hastening atherosclerosis, and increasing systemic inflammation."

So I guess we all should face each day with a positive attitude. No regrets right? Aside from being in a bad temper and having a horrible day, we can seize the day and stay healthy. It's all in the mind.
