False Awakening: Are you sure you're awake??

I seriously had no intention to write and post about dreams until last night I had this strange dream. I was experiencing something that is known as the False Awakening. This dream concept was used in the movie Inception

So, there are many types of false awakenings but basically it is when you are convinced that you are waking up from your dream but you are actually still asleep. When you start doing your activities by sleep walking, it is known as the Continuum. While what I experienced is called the Double Dream or dream within a dream (can be more than two frames).

I dreamed that a friend of mine asked me to go somewhere and join my boyfriend with another friend ours. I was not happy and am upset because my boyfriend didn't tell me that he is in town! I felt so uncomfortable and was fully convinced that I woke up. I gave thought to how I was relieved that it was just a dream. A few minutes afterwards, that's the moment I woke up from my false awakening dream. So in my first dream, I thought I woke up but I didn't.

False awakenings may lead to the pre-lucid dream. In pre-lucid dream, you will be so confused and you won't be able to tell whether you are really dreaming or conscious. Some types of dreams can also be considered as the OBE or the Out of Body Experience.

For some of you who had been experiencing this a lot or do not want to experience, I found a website that gives a lot of  information on how to prevent false awakenings. Check it out: http://dreamstudies.org/2010

Where are you at? : Level of Motivation

| |
0 comments
Everyone has their own purpose of doing something, or as I refer to their motivation in achieving. I believe motivation leads you to places you never imagined before. One thing I know for sure, from the heart you'll receive your outcome.Motivation also defines who you are as a person. So, the higher your motivation, the priceless it is. Although you may now find yourself in the first line, you can ALWAYS choose to change if you really want to! It's just in the matter of the mind! Change is constant :)

Levels of motivation by Abraham Maslow:

1. Physiological: physical needs (food, house, basic necessities, biological needs, etc)
2. Safety
3. Love/belonging
4. Esteem: (pride, prestige)
5. Self-actualization : when you live your values and by morality

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs picture: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Maslow%27s_Hierarchy_of_Needs.svg

Now that you have seen the levels, try to identify where you may be. You know you can always reach the top, only if you want to! You can always achieve a better and happier life with the right motivation.

Would you prefer a Self Capture or an Aura Capture?

Today in class I was astonished to hear about taking pictures of your aura and see the colors. Once you know the colors you can tell more on your personality. Have to be honest this is something new to me and am also doing more research on it. A lot of people may have different perspectives and opinions regarding this thing but there's nothing wrong to keep yourself updated with what's happening. Keep self opened up for information and stand on your ground.

Check out this article to read more about taking captures of your aura and what does the color indicates: http://healingandlove.com/2013/06/05/how-to-view-your-aura-from-a-picture-and-aura-color-meanings/

Psychology & Science: Your Eyes Don't Lie

I have just arrived home from my regular night classes. Today I learned tons on how to identify a person through their face structure and about the body language. I personally am fascinated with how the Creator created human beings and how we can tell about someone's personality in just a blink! We are not living in a regular world here, there's so much out there to discover!
source: http://inserbia.info/news/2013/05/how-our-eyes-reveal-our-thoughts-and-emotions/

Here's a short research I did on how to tell whether someone's being honest or not. I suppose it has been a public secret but do we actually know how it is related scientifically?

Here's a short brief of the right and left brain's "responsibility":
1. Right brain:
  • Recognizing faces
  • Expressing emotions
  • Music
  • Reading emotions
  • Color
  • Images
  • Intuition
  • Creativity
2. Left brain:
  • Language
  • Logic
  • Critical thinking
  • Numbers
  • Reasoning
Remember that when someone lies, they are "reasoning" and the left brain is on it's job. It's job is done with the help of certain nerves that's connected to the eyes and this explains why the eyes would spontaneously move to the upper left. On the contrary, when someone is recalling a certain event, someone or something,  the movement will go to the upper right.

Keep the Doctor Away By Walking the Talk Each Day

| |

A couple of days ago...

A known speaker of parenting came to my aunt for a counseling session regarding his marriage (felt awesome to sit somewhere near & eavesdropped information while eating frozen yoghurt).  I was “mindblown” by how speakers can be so capable in talking but not in walking the talk of their own theories. On the contrary, people are looking up to him and searching for inspiration. He didn’t walk his talk, fake in public and ended up being unhappy. I figured out that not walking the talk will lead to an inner conflict (consciously or unconsciously). The inner conflict will soon turn to something horrible (disease is one of the effects), as for this man he suffered diabetes and some other illness. So bottom line: walk the talk is one way to keep the doctor away. :)

Here’s an article I find helpful to know more about inner conflicts and how to deal with it: http://www.yourmagnetichealth.com/techniques-to-help-you-now/self-sabotage-inner-conflict/

HELLO THEREEE :))

(No.. I am not a food blogger, just happens to relate my passion with food)

I am pretty excited about my first post. I know blogs had been there since forever but it’s just now that I get hyped about it and am making it a part of me. I love food, so let’s put it this way: knowing donuts exist and are good but FALLING for it now and BAM you are addicted. As you cherish each bite, you promise that you’ll stay dedicated eating donuts (not such a good idea to try literally but just fyi, these are the donuts that inspired me with this “Simply Passion” blog)
ps: I can't help not posting em! :9
